RegPing is a suite of Discord application bots ("RegPing," "we," "us," or "our") that monitor public regulatory feeds — including FDA recalls, US financial-regulator enforcement actions, US state cannabis rules, and AI/privacy legislation — and deliver filtered alert embeds into subscribing Discord servers. RegPing is operated by an individual developer. Questions about this policy may be sent to michael@complianceghost.com.
This policy applies to all data processed by the RegPing bots in connection with their operation on Discord. It does not govern Discord's own data practices; please review Discord's Privacy Policy separately.
RegPing collects and stores only the minimum data necessary to deliver its alert service. Specifically, we store:

We collect this data because it is strictly necessary to provide the service. Without a guild ID, channel ID, and filter configuration, we cannot route alerts to the correct destination.
RegPing explicitly does not collect, process, or store:
RegPing requests only the applications.commands and bot OAuth scopes, with Send Messages and Embed Links permissions. These permissions are sufficient to post alert embeds and respond to slash commands, and are the only permissions RegPing holds.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis (including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"):
All RegPing operational data is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, a globally distributed key-value store operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Cloudflare operates data centers globally; data may be stored or replicated in multiple regions as part of normal Cloudflare KV operation. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details on Cloudflare's data practices.
We do not operate our own database servers or persistent file storage outside of Cloudflare's platform.
RegPing retains server configuration data (guild ID, channel ID, filter preferences, entitlement status) for as long as the bot remains in your server and your subscription remains active or was recently active. If a server removes the RegPing bot or the subscription lapses, the associated configuration data is eligible for deletion within 90 days of the bot's removal or subscription expiry. You may also request earlier deletion by contacting michael@complianceghost.com.

Important note regarding Anthropic: When RegPing uses the Anthropic Claude API to summarize regulatory content, only the publicly available regulatory text published by government agencies is sent to Anthropic. No guild IDs, channel IDs, user data, server data, or filter preferences are ever transmitted to Anthropic.
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data we hold to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
Because RegPing does not collect data about individual users, most data-subject rights (access, rectification, erasure) apply at the server-administrator level:
/unsubscribe command within your server, which removes your server's subscription and configuration.

RegPing is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 where required by applicable law), and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Compliance with Discord's age requirements is the responsibility of server administrators.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold, including reliance on Cloudflare's infrastructure security, HTTPS-only communication, and minimal data collection. No system is perfectly secure; by using RegPing you acknowledge that transmissions over the internet carry inherent risk.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via RegPing's official support server or Discord application description. Continued use of RegPing after the revised effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
